The construction of the Fairmont Hotel at YVR represents the first commercial Hotel built as part of the major renovation and additions to the Airport Facility. This mid rise concrete structure incorporates a unique transfer floor which was built directly above a fully operational level of baggage handling on piled foundations and required a high level of design and construction co-ordination. |
